Back Garden Update: I have some work to do
I did a small garden video earlier this AM after watering. Things are looking good for the most part, but I have some weeding to address. ALL the time. hehehe
I also see that the plum tree in the back is in full swing which means more sweeping, cutting the area around it WAY down - like to the dirt, and staying on the picking up and dumping of the plums that fall off the tree. All it takes is ONE TIME of not doing these steps and dealing with the TONS of gross little nats and bugs that swarm on the stinking and rotting plums to burn the need for clean up in ones memory! ::::shiver::

Hot Garden Needs Water? OH! :)
The garden is starting to come alive again. I'm spending more time taking care of it and using more water than i used to use on it and...wow....looks like plants really like more water. :) I'm still being careful - we are still not in awesome shape here in California, however we're looking at ways to be less wasteful and applying the water saved to the garden areas. I'm also hand watering and not just blasting everything with water. This allows me to water the plant bases, but not hitting plain dirt.

Dragging in June
I just saw that I never wrote this JUNE blog post! heheheh I'll just comment where needed. The photos speak for themselves. :)
We get this crazy ANT PARTY thing going on hot days. Maybe it gets too hot underground for them? They come out in this swarm for about 45 minutes to an hour, then just totally disappear again. Odd stuff and very creepy to witness. :::shiver::::
